184 days till Christmas!

I'm gonna do a Li Hong and finish off telling you three posts that I was supposed to do more than a month ago...It's been too long for me to be bothered do do in detail anymore!

  • The day after I got back from the suburbs in April, Ching Ching came by after class to help me finish off some food. I decided to do some laundry while sending her down, and she came along to watch me load them in. When I was done, these two Chinese moms were standing there and one of them asked me how to use the machine. I asked them if they were from KL and they said yes.
Me : Oh! I'm from KL too!
Mom #1 : Are you Shaun?!
Me : Errr...maybe...some people call me that...
Mom : Do you know Natalie Tan?!
Me : Oh.

Anyway, I took them on a tour of my apartment. They quite liked it (hah to all you nay sayers!) and I saw them off. The next night I met Natalie in the Arrow hotel lobby when I was checking my mail. She asked if I had my dinner yet, and I said I was gonna make something after I got back up. As soon as I reached my apartment, her mom rang to ask me over for dinner.

It was such a nice dinner! So thanks Nat & Mom :)

  • That wasn't how I started my day though. Earlier, Harvey, Sars, Shazy and I went for lunch at this Japanese/Korean restaurant. Noodle Spoon or something? I forgot :( And then Harvey and I teman-ed Sars while she waited to sort out some problems she was having with her dance studio.
  • The day before was a hectic one. Already I had not stayed in my apartment for almost 4 days since I was in the suburbs for the long Anzac weekend. On Sunday morning my uncle drove me into the city after badminton to drop me off. I walked in, changed, and walked right back out to meet Harvey at Melbourne Central, where we met up with Elaine after grabbing some sushi. Why?
WE WERE GOING BACK TO THE SUBURBS!

Elaine lives in a golf resort called Sandhurst, an hours train away from the city. Luckily she drove halfway, so we only had to train for 20 minutes to get to her car :

Elaine : When I arrived in Melbourne, I opened the garage, and the car was sitting there.

Rav4!

The place is pretty nice...not as nice as her house in Tropicana, but definitely has potential!

Harvey wanted to study, so Elaine took me on a tour to the club house which is really nice.

After that we got back and I cooked!

And then we went to church!

  • After that I did NOT go home. Well I did, I walked in, changed, and walked back out. I took the train again, and this time went to Cauffield for my family friend's birthday. I was 1.5 hours late, 'cause church took longer than usual, and the trams were delayed.
  • Then, I walked in, bathed, changed, and fell asleep, bags still unpacked.
