T42 & My First Driving Experience

I've changed the music : It's now Bubbly by Colbie Caillat.

My mom and sister are on holiday and so my dad and I have been relying on my maid's cooking to keep us through the week. However, without my mom around to keep a tight leash on us, our bored-of-home-cooked-food taste buds took over and we decided to go out for an unscheduled dinner. I felt like I wanted to satisfy my epicurean needs by trying out new restaurants, so after much research and phone calls, I settled on Tea for Two along Jalan Bangkung at Bangsar.

I accidentally came upon Tea for Two on New Year's Eve when Brigitte and I were picking Siew See up from her house. It drew my attention because I have never seen another restaurant as wonderfully or heavily decorated. By the time I went on the 6th however, all decorations had been taken down. That didn't affect the quaint atmosphere and the cosy feel I got when I walked in. The first thing I thought was "I'm bringing my date here!".

It was quite a romantic restaurant! I wonder what they do for Valentine's Day. Again, I only had my phone camera, so I only took a few blur pictures.

I had a Linguini which I don't remember the name of, but it had chicken, mushroom sauce, and was baked with cheese and White Wine. I also then had a tantalising Tiramisu for dessert.

After dinner, I said something which I have been saying for the last 3 years : "I drive back la!"

Imagine my shock and horror surprise when my dad said "Oh, alright" and tossed me the keys.

It was my first time driving an automatic, first time driving after I got my license, and my first time driving at night. It was a smooth ride though! I did better than I thought I would. Hehehe.

I had a dream that night that my dad told me to drive to KLIA to pick up my mom and sister. And today, he did! Shit. I'm so excited though! Lol. Anyway, the rest of my family is back on the 9th, so that means a drastic cut in Smallville time!

Till tomorrow!
