Sydney Part 2

Before reaching Circular Quay, we just had to take some pics.

Nicole Kidman's house is somewhere there. Anyway, this guy plays there everyday!!!! I didn't stop to listen though :P

So, where did we eat? Eating overlooking the sea...hmmm...is price range an issue? Apparently not, cause there wasn't much of a choice in terms of price range! There was either expensive or multimillionaire expensive.

So...yeah. But if you think I'm complaining I'm not. I was on holiday afterall, and we wanted to eat somewhere good and scenic, and so we were prepared to pay :) And besides my dish was GREAT!

We ate at City Lecha.

My most-delicious-salmon-I've-ever-tasted-and-usually-I-don't-like-salmon dish :

Lemon Lime Bitters. Oh gosh. Orgasmic. How long has it been since I used to sip on you in Delicious? Sigh.

Manpreet's supposedly OK dish - compare mine and hers :P Same price!

The menus are modeled after newspapers. Headlines = main course and stuff like that!

How much was the bill? Okay la, I was going on about how it was expensive and stuff, but it actually wasn't bad la :) $19 per person.

I'm preparing you for my future post about lunch at Society. $19 is really not bad!

And then, we went exploring. Customs House was really nice. We'll eat there next time yeah Manpreet! Hahaha. One part of the floor is glass, and it has a complete model of the city of Sydney underneath. I was really afraid of stepping on the glass though - it's as if I was at a great height. But it was just too cool to miss, so I lay my feet on the grid lines.

And then the architecture. My Australian Melbournian cousin's who hate Sydney say that if they shifted these buildings to Melbourne, no one would go to Sydney.

Coke's building in the middle!

And back to wonder :

MARK TWAIN!!!

And back again...

And back again to another intermission :)
