Random Thoughts

I'm worried. I think I'm going insane. I have to post up a blog post every day, because I have done so for the last 11 days! I have a lot of drafted posts, but I'm lazy to complete some, and for two I don't have pictures - So Emy, Pearly and Wei Xiong, please do my sanity a favour and send the pics over :)

I think I am pretty much prepared for Melbourne. I have almost all my bases covered; who to stay with if I don't like staying on my own, friends to help me ease into uni life unscathed, friends coming down to visit me in March/April and August, the option of flying east to Sydney to spend my Easter with family...all sorted out. The only thing that's bugging me right now is my mom's adamant refusal to start packing! What if we're overweight? I'm taking less than eighth of my room along but I'm still really worried that I'll be forced to unload some stuff at the airport. Anyone want to take some stuff for me? *puss in boots eyes*

While talking to Tse Han yesterday, at one point I told him to be patient. Then I remembered (and subsequently used) this long forgotten "poem" that my Form 2 friend, Gregory, had taught me. I still find it funny even after all these years.

Or rather after 6 years; still a lot though!

Patience is a Virtue
Virtue is a Grace
and Grace is a little girl who didn't wash her face!

My apologies to any Grace that might be reading my blog :)

After reading Bernice's post about her trip to London, I had a twinge of regret about choosing not to further my studies in the UK. The only reason I didn't turn my powers of persuasion on was because the caring son I am didn't want my parents to have to live in a Mud Hut till I got back. I still could have done twinning, but the calibre of people doing twinning to Manchester wasn't up to my liking.

But Melbourne Uni is worth it. It's higher ranking than Manchester anyway! And besides, I have more friends and family in Australia than in desolate UK. For example, the cousins from Melbourne that I met yesterday. I went to visit my aunt, and lo and behold, my cousins opened the door! I didn't think they would be coming with her! Yay. My aunt said I'll have a party to look forward to during my first few days of Melbourne life. So my first week or two is pretty much set. Thank God :)

Speaking of God, I've increasingly begun to notice how things always end up fitting together. Everything I want or need is always presented to me in the most surprising and random manners. I suppose there's only one person to thank for that :) So, I'm not too worried about Australia, since that one person is always around!

And speaking of people being around, a record has been set! 61 people visited my blog on January the 5th! A record high!

I would like to thank......

Anyway, I have to go ring my agent to see if she can get my baggage limit extended to 30kg. Anyone know how I can get the increased allowance? Let me know yeah?

Oh, and have you noticed I haven't blogged about Hil? Hehehe...just two points : She's written a song called "I Will" for Vanessa Hudgens upcoming album, and she wants to make a total new album rather than remix Dignity.

See ya!
