My Birthday (2)

The day before my birthday was the day I arrived in Melbourne. As soon as I landed, I dumped my bags at home, made a few calls, and headed straight out into the Melbourne cold to meet Sara! We went for lunch and Harvey joined us midway.

We then decided to do a bit of window shopping - we hit LV, Gucci, and then Burberry at Crown. And I had my first Greco's! (Not dessert though Vyn, so my birthday still counts :D)




This little boy was at Tiffany & Co. The shop was bustling like a Chinese market place, and his mother had obviously just left him there bored :D


On the day of my birthday itself, I woke up relatively early at 10am for breakfast with Albert and Sara. They took me to Pancake Parlour - their treat! Thanks guys :D

He gave me this wind chime from Korea! It's really nice, and I tried putting it on my fridge (cause it has a magnet as well as a nail hole), but it's so damn heavy that it keeps sliding down! So I'm gonna use it in my apartment next year :)



We then went to Gucci and Burberry at Crown again, before meeting Harvey for lunch at Chinatown Dumplings on Swanston Street.







Ching Ching and Khong joined us for lunch, and then I took them both to Max Brenners - my treat :)


I was afraid Ching wouldn't take Khong there again before he left, so I ordered the works! Tutti Frutti Waffles, Suckao, Apple Hot Chocolate and normal Hot Chocolate. Hahaha :) We were so stuffed! I went back home and chilled for about 2 hours before heading out for dessert at Koko Black with Tse Han, Seok and Wai Hong. Hemsudha wasn't back from Mauritius yet, and Wei Xiong dropped by for a bit - he was on his way to a party. It was my treat again since I pulled them out on the night before uni started :)












On Monday while everyone else started uni, it was my day off :) So, I met up with Elaine at Chinatown : Shangai Dumplings. We then went to Gucci to check out my wallet, and I temaned Elaine to Ralph Lauren and Chanel after.



Elaine laughed so hard everytime I did this :)

What I really wanted for my birthday was to be surrounded by my friends for the whole day. And from the time I awoke till I slept, I was! I didn't manage to have the big gathering I was thinking off though, but that was all about to change :) And I also wasn't able to treat Sara, Keat, Shin and Anselm cause Sara had to leave lunch early! But nvm :) It was a good day :)

But as I said...the best has yet to come :)
