It's the only mall that is close to one in KL. It's quite far away, and to get there, you needa take a train and then a bus. But I did it. Why? The Chadstone's sale. Up to 30% off. Twice a year. THE sale.
Oh, and though it was "up to 30%", there were shops that had 50% to 70% off too. And, these are no ordinary shops ok? I'm a Chadstone's fan now. I was the first to know about it, cause I'm really weird that way, and I pumped my friends up for it. Most of them had classes and so said they would go at 5. But the sale started at 10! How could I miss all that time?! So, I decided to go ahead first, and leave directions for them. So, I did a tute, and arranged for the other 2 to be replaced, and left uni at 12pm.
Tse Han and Nat were kind enough to join me since it was their off day! I went from shop to shop non stop from 1-8pm. Don't joke around. We had only covered a floor when it came to 7pm, and I was getting so worried. I didn't even feel hungry, cause all I was concerned about was being able to finish the 2nd floor off as well before the mall closed at 10pm.
I wanted to take pictures of all the shops that I went to, but I didn't have time after the first 10. Infact, before the big day, I had printed out a map of the mall, plotted all the shops I wanted to visit, and calculated the correct routes to take in order to optimise my shopping time. I forgot to bring the paper with me on the day, so I immediately went to the counter and did it there while Nat and Tse Han went to eat.
This was the first time in MY LIFE that I actually shopped "=.= Thus, it was an experience. Tse Han left when Sara and Yi Ping arrived. I met up with Elaine and Alex for a bit as well. We grabbed a quick dinner at the food court and then conquered the 2nd floor. Before that, at 5pm, they handed out free Vodka Cruisers. Great drinks, but people thought they were alcohol...I mean they are la, but these ones were pathetic man - they had like what, 0.02% alcohol?
I also bumped into Wen Ting and Sam! There was a fashion show, but I didn't let anyone watch since I was in a hurry :P
We headed back at 10.45, and reached the city around 11. Phew. Good shopping for a first timer :)
