I helped him draw up the guest list, and most of them (12 people) came, Yee Ping cancelled last moment. Also, Rezza went and invited someone that everyone dislikes without even telling me! I mean, I would'nt have minded, but I told the restaurant only 11 people were coming. Anyway, moving on...
I booked a private room, upstairs. It was really really nice...
Let me take you on a tour!

Up the stairs,

To the right :

We had our own bar!

Rezza, Yar Sze and I arrived at the same time, at 6.45. Mun Yee, Brigitte, Siew See and Shing Yun came soon after, but the latter two had to go to Bangsar Village 'cause Shing Yun's shoe had broken.
And then Emy and Pearly, followed by Steph, followed by Tzi Houng (hem hem).
At 8.30, Tchen Terk arrived and the guest list was complete.
Steph and Yar Sze after work :

They work as Accounting Interns at PWC and KPMG, not waitresses :P
One of the cakes, the one my mom made. (Yes, their Patchi)

We ordered at 8.45, and the appetizers and drinks came pretty fast. I regret not having the Sangria - it was really good!
I had the Citron Presse, which later spilled on me when Siew See and I were playing. I don't even know how. However, Siew See started apologising profusely, so I'm guessing it was'nt my fault! It's OK Siew C :D
We kept adding on appetisers since they were really nice. The main course however took ages to come! It arrived between 9.30 to 9.45. You know why? They wanted to serve everyone at once. Grrr...downstairs, the turnover rate was so fast. Everyone looking so satisfied. Grr.
The order that I had prepared at home wasn't on the menu, so Yar Sze went down to "seduce" the chef. Hahaha...so I got a SPECIAL plate :D
Sea Bass. It was FANTASTIC. Everyone was pinching off me.

While waiting for the food, we gave Rezza his present. 9 people shared, including Yee Ping who couldn't make it.

Okay...now, I'm gonna blow my own (and Emy's) horn. Hahaha...the whole present was my idea, except for the "board card" which was Emy's. Emy did the board from scratch. And well...Rezza was...very touched...yeah...I think that describes it.
I took pics, but he was covered in snow spray. (Don't ask)
We also took pics while waiting :

Mun Yee brought me stuffies from the UK! :D TURKISH DELIGHT! So unexpected! WHEEEE!!! THANKS SO MUCH MUN YEE!!!!!

Brigitte also brought something from China, which I'm saving for Christmas day :)
Then, we cut the cakes.
We sang twice, once for each cake.

Then, more pics!
Unprepared : Look at Siew See!

Great High School Friends :)
Everyone! :
Note the waiter. No one even knew he was there till I came home and looked at the picture...He's on the far right, waving.

Then, we asked for the bill at 11.00, after ordering dessert.
Everyone was shocked at the amount...Yar Sze's reaction :

Under budget, but still a lot. I won't tell you the budget, but....it came to RM1114.
So, THANKS Rezza...hahahah
Before the meal,
Pearly : Eh, Ruwan Ruwan! come here! How much can we order ah?
The day before, when my mom was making the icing, she got an electric shock because my maid had wet the stove. But she still wanted to make the cake, so she made my maid mix the icing in front of her. When she tasted it, she wanted to redo the whole cake cause she said the icing was a bit salty. Me and my dad didn't think so, and thankfully, no one else did either. Steph who's a loyal fan of my mom's chocolate cake said it was as great as ever "=.= Phew!
During the meal, when I was standing waiting for someone to wipe my place,
Shing Yun : sit somewhere else and start eating la!
Steph : *in her LOUD LOUD voice* He doesn't want to sit next to Tzi Houng!
Everyone : *grins*
Me : huh?!
Tzi Houng : hmmm
Yar Sze, Tchen Terk and I were really pissed off at Tzi Houngs table talk (about how he's so great 'cause he had sex with a girl in a toilet, followed my Mid Valley etc., and trying to force everyone to go clubbing with him because after all he is the God of Cool, blablabla). We kept telling him to shut up, but he just went on and on.
I really felt like leaving, and I thought my whole planning process was ruined. Emy noticed my extremely dark and sour face :P.
Somemore, I thought everyone didn't like Tzi Houng, but Pearly and Emy were laughing at everything he said. You cannot believe HOW relieved I was when I talked with them after he had gone for a smoke. I mean...I don't know if I can like people who like Tzi Houng :S
At around 11.15, we started the SNOW FIGHT.
I was winning at first, until Pearly blasted some into my face as I was TALKING! After washing it off, I went out, only to be sprayed by Tchen Terk, who I chased downstairs with my only ammunition : A half-full bottle of Sparkling Water.
When I came up, everyone (all snow coated to some degree) was waiting to hit me, but with my water I was pretty much safe...but then....
Tchen Terk ran up the stairs, pinned my arms to the side, shouted "SPRAY!", and every single can pointed at my direction and sprayed.
The result?

After I had washed, the main waiter came up to me and said "Ruwan, my friend would like to be sprayed!". When I didn't say anything, he said "No, seriously!". So, the friend lowered his head, and I SPRRAAAAYYYEEDDDD!!!
Hahaha...everyone started cheering. Second childhood man.
The party was really fun, and I forgot all thoughts of leaving because talking with friends just does that! I got to catch up with my great school friends, and with college friends too! Especially Pearly and Mun Yee who just returned from England the day before.
I also returned with things for my Christmas tree! A present and card from Siew See, and a card from Mun Yee! Not gonna open till the 25th :)
Happy early 19th Rezza! Glad you LOVED one present, ENJOYED the other, and LIKED the final one! :) Have fun in Penang, Japan, and Saudi Arabia!
